Pale Spiked Lobelia (Lobelia spicata) 12-pack of plugs
Can be shipped.
What are plugs? Plugs are plants grown in 72-cell trays; each soil plug is 1.6” wide x 3.2” deep. Read more here.
Pale Spiked Lobelia produces short spikes of white flowers in mid to late summer. It’s a very short plant, making this species useful along garden edges, pathways, and the front of sunny plantings. It doesn’t spread much either, making it a nice plant for short, tidy gardens.
White-flowering prairie plants are relatively uncommon, so Pale Spiked Lobelia helps add contrast among the pinks, purples, and yellows of summer blooming native plants.
In prairie-style plantings, Pale Spiked Lobelia goes well with low grasses and sedges, as well as shorter flowers such as Prairie Phlox, Butterfly Milkweed, and Prairie Loosestrife.
