How pick-up works:

  • If you choose a pickup option at checkout, we will assemble your order and have your trays of plants ready on the date and location you choose.

  • We will send out pickup instructions a week or two ahead of time.

  • We select healthy, well-rooted plants but we can offer refunds or store credit if contacted within 60 days of receiving plants.

What to expect when you pick up your plants:

  • Arrive at your pickup location and park.

  • Find the Blazing Star Gardens vendor booth. If it is a Twin Cities plant sale, there may be a few other native plant vendors.

  • At the Blazing Star Gardens booth, go to the “Pickup Pre-orders Here” table and tell an employee your last and first name.

  • The employee will hand you your order. We will have carts you can use to transport your plants to your car.

  • Done!

Refund Policy:

If you are unhappy with the quality of your plants, please email us within 60 days of receiving them for a refund or store credit. We do not ship replacement plants.

Cancellation Policy:

During the spring season, if you cancel before May 1st, there is a 100% refund. After May 1st, no refunds will be available. During the fall season, if you cancel before September 1st, there is a 100% refund. After September 1st, no refunds will be available. We cannot cancel or change individual parts of an order.

How many plants can I fit in my car?

  • A tray of plants is 1 ft x 2 ft. A tray of plants can hold 18 pots (six 3-packs) or 72 plugs (six 12-packs).

  • A small car can fit about 7 trays of plants total in the backseat and trunk. It can fit ~10 trays by stacking.

  • A small SUV can fit 10 trays of plants in the backseat and trunk. It can fit ~15 trays by stacking.

  • A pickup can hold 10 - 20 trays—however, we do NOT recommend putting plants trays in an exposed pickup bed (it’s OK if you have a topper or cover).
