Mountain Mint (Pycnanthemum virginianum) 12-pack of plugs
Can be shipped.
What are plugs? Plugs are plants grown in 72-cell trays; each soil plug is 1.6” wide x 3.2” deep. Read more here.
Mountain Mint is a wonderful plant that grows in a bush-like form. It is beloved by all kinds of pollinators and is often covered in insects when in bloom. This makes it a very popular plant for pollinator gardens, and always near the top of people’s lists when asked about the best plants for pollinators. It has fragrant leaves and mostly white flowers that have a pale purple tint to them.
It spreads underground to form a small colony, so care should be taken where you plant it. It’s a wet-meadow plant that can handle a little more moisture than most prairie plants, making it valuable for rain gardens and wet swales.
