Prairie Coreopsis is a long-lived prairie flower that grows well in tough garden conditions. It spreads slowly by underground rhizomes, forming large patches over time.

The bright yellow flowers bloom in early to mid-summer and bring strong color to sunny gardens. It works well in prairie plantings, pollinator gardens, and dry areas where spreading plants are useful.

Prairie Coreopsis looks good with orange and pink summer flowers such as Butterfly Milkweed and Coneflowers.
