Design Tips

Palm sedge can be planted individually or in small groups to add nice vertical mounds to sunny or shady gardens, or it can be planted in large groups that form a dense cover. Palm Sedge (Carex muskingumensis) is a good choice for sunny or shady rain gardens. It does tend to spread a lot by seed over time.

Great native plant choice for the Minnesota Lawns to Legumes grant program!
