Heart Leaved Golden Alexander’s are full of yellow flower clusters in early summer. They spread slightly less in gardens and can handle a bit more shade than regular Golden Alexanders. They are a host plant for caterpillars of the Painted Lady butterfly. We like to plant Heart Leaved Golden Alexander throughout shade gardens with sedges or Bottlebrush Grass in-between.
