This is a naturally occurring hybrid of Downy Gentian (Gentiana puberulenta) and Bottle Gentian (Gentiana andrewsii). It has stunning bluish purple flowers. The bottle shaped flowers of this Gentian grow in clumps, providing a burst of color in late summer gardens.
